In Grow there are teams who are not signing up through the Grow Platform directly and have paid another way for the platform. This requires us to manually monitor or create their team membership on the platform.
Most often this is a result of them having a custom agreement with us due to having a large number of locations or because they are bundling their Grow subscription with their coaching or marketing and have chosen to pay for that another way besides signing up through the Grow Platform.
It is worth noting that this does create extra work for our team because the agreement and payment have to be setup manually and then the team and Grow membership need to be setup manually as well. It also requires someone to monitor the agreement to be sure that when they cancel their agreement, the payment gets cancelled and then their Grow Membership and Group get cancelled and removed.
The first step to adding a prepaid team to the Grow Platform is to send them the prepaid email from Accelo. This includes a custom link that allows them to sign-up for Grow without paying.
(Skip this if the client completed the signup already) A lot of times clients require a reminder to complete their Grow signup. If that's the case, we have a second email template in Accelo that just reminds them to complete the steps to signup for Grow. It's titled "Grow Post Prepaid Follow-up". Go ahead and send this a week after the first email if they haven't signed up yet.
Once the primary group leader has followed the instructions and signed up, you will need to setup their learning group. You should get a notification by email that the individual has signed up.
Setup the team Grow Group
Login to Grow as an administrator by visiting https://grow.jmsn.com/wp-admin
Go to Learndash LMS > Groups
Search to make sure the group doesn't already exist. If it doesn't, click "Add New".
Add a Group Title of the Practice Name
Add 15 as the number of seats for the group.
Under settings, set the group privacy to "Closed"
Under Learning Pathways, add all of the Premium Learning Pathways to the group. You can leave the free learning pathways out as they are mostly lite versions of the Premium Pathway.
Add the individual who signed up for the membership to the Group Leader and Group Users groups.
Click to Publish the Group.
Set "Buddyboss Group" to "Hidden". Open "BuddyBoss>Groups" find the group you just created and edit it. Select the "Hidden" option under the group settings.
Now that the group is setup. Send the "Grow Group Confirmation" email in Accelo to let the client know they can start inviting their team to the group.
